Laptop Carrying Case

Laptop Carrying Case Details
You definitely want a carrying case for your laptop if you plan to travel around with it at all. If you don’t get one, you’ll quickly have a beat-up laptop. If you are just going to keep it in your house and move it around inside there, don’t bother.
Cases usually come in nylon or leather. The nylon ones are cheaper but are usually thinner and don’t offer as much protection. The leather cases I’ve seen are thicker and actually end up weighing a few pounds. You may not want a leather case if you’ve spent lots of cash to make sure your laptop weighs only four pounds. If you don’t like leather, there’s always “pleather” or faux leather that can take a beating just as well.
There are also cases that let you carry an additional peripheral like a large hard drive or CD-drive (if you don’t have one built-in). If you can, try not to get a case that makes it overly obvious that there’s a laptop inside. Thieves love this, and laptops are prime targets because of their small size and high value.
